Eirini Boukla is a postgraduate of Camberwell College of Art & Design and the School of Fine Art, History of Art & Cultural studies, University of Leeds. She is an artist and a lecturer in Art & Design at School of Design, University of Leeds, heading the area of drawing and printmaking. Her practice focuses on graphic strategies that reread, reanimate, quote, remix, mash-up and morph a multiplicity of styles, historical movements and precepts of mark-making. Her main research interests are drawing, the practice of tracing, ideas of authorship and semiotics.
